Thank you for signing up for WordCamp Victoria 2009!

Several volunteers have made a great effort behind the scenes to make this one of the best WordCamp's ever!

As a reminder, it is THIS Saturday, November 14th at University Canada West (Kings and Quadra).

There is a parking lot, but it is somewhat limited. So, if possible, please carpool or take public transit. When you arrive, please enter through the side entrance (the entrance right off the parking lot). Please sign in at the table - be sure to pick up your name badge, printed program, and some WordPress "swag".

Doors open at 8:30am. (If you arrive earlier, we will be happy to put you to work setting up and call you a volunteer. Hey, it beats standing outside in the wind.)

If you signed up without your full name, but would like it printed on your badge in advance, please e-mail me as soon as possible. (For attendees who have not sent their full name, a felt marker will be available to write your name in however you please.)

Please keep and wear your badge. This is your "ticket" in and out throughout the day.

The complete speakers list is available at http://tweeting.ca/23..., and the agenda is available at http://tweeting.ca/26....

Please also take a moment to read about the sponsors for the event (and say something nice about them on your blog, too).

If you were hoping to speak or present, it's not too late! Plan a Campout session - write up your time and topic on the board as soon as you arrive, so people can plan their day better. See http://tweeting.ca/23... for more information.

Lunch information is available at http://tweeting.ca/27... - bringing your own food and drinks is OK (just dispose of your garbage appropriately, of course).

Bring your laptop, your questions, and your enthusiasm for an exciting day!

Note: While the University is making every effort to ensure open Wi-Fi access at the event, it is a good idea to plan for the worst - bring local copies of presentations or "Campout Session" material, backup documents onto your thumb drives, print your speaking notes, and bring a pad of paper to make notes.

If you have any other questions in advance of the event, please let me know!

Thanks,
Paul Holmes

All I want to know is - will there be coffee there in the morning? cool

Also - wireless - please assure us there will be wireless... a camp without wireless sounds too much like actual camping.
